About the Coyote Creek Elementary Parent Teacher Organization
All parents/guardians are automatically a part of the PTO (membership is free). PTO meetings are the only way the PTO can communicate effectively with parents. We hold Board meetings monthly on the first Tuesday of each month. Please attend these meetings as they are a great way to find out what's going on at our school!
Coyote Creek moved from a PTA to a PTO between the 2007/2008 and 2008/2009 school years.
The Coyote Creek PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a chapter of the Douglas County Educational Foundation, a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization created to provide resources to the Douglas County School District in Colorado. These resources may be in the form of funds/grants, materials, or services. CCE PTO is comprised of parents, staff, students, and community members who share the common goal of enhancing the quality of student education and developing a strong sense of community at CCE. Membership is free. Throughout the year, your PTO will be organizing and supporting instructional programs, fundraising activities and community service activities. We encourage you to get involved with one or more activities or event committees during the school year.
